Umfolozi Sugar Mill (Pty) Ltd is situated in the heart of Zululand in the town of Mtubatuba, 25 km from St Lucia, and the World Heritage Site iSimangaliso Wetland Park. iSimangaliso Wetland Park boasts the big ‘six’ (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and whales) plus Cape Vidal beach resort which is a popular KZN North-coast family holiday and big game fishing destination. The world-famous Umfolozi/Hluhluwe Game Reserve lies 30 km West of USM and is home to the big five.
USM plays a significant role in the local community as it crushes sugarcane from approximately 60 commercial farmers and more than 1500 small-scale farmers and employs over 300 permanent staff.

The interested persons must be self-motivated, a team player, pro-active minded, excellent attention to detail and with passion for projects work. Reporting to the Projects Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the wholistic management of allocated projects and to support the USM Factory team in uplifting engineering and projects management standards.

The interested persons must be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, a team player and with passion for good housekeeping and safety. Reporting to the Maintenance Foreman (Extraction), the successful candidate will be primarily responsible but not limited for the maintenance and servicing of the front-end, diffuser, and auxiliary equipment.
